Excellent Opportunity for a Server Support Analyst / Unix Administrator / 3rd Line Server Support Analyst to join a large Media Owner! You need excellent working knowledge of Unix / Solaris environments which should include shell scripting and problem diagnosis to 3rd line support. You must have a full understanding of Unix server architectures and full knowledge of Unix operating systems down to kernel level. You will need expert knowledge of Sun Sparc infrastructure as well as knowledge of virtualised environments, replication and SANs particularly EMC. This is a 3 Month Fixed Term Contract. Working as the Server Support Analyst / Unix Administrator you will be required to provide assistance to all end users in the resolution of related incidents and queries. You will be responsible for providing technical analysis of all server incidents as well as ensuring the fault queues are managed to meet agreed SLA levels for incidents and requests.
